Decent eats (salad needs improvement on freshness) , service and cleanliness could improve. I would recommend for a casual night. (My first initial wine glass had the previous customers lipstick stain and I found that very disturbing so please check your glasses.)

Really solid spot. The pizza was great, fresh, tasty, and exactly what you want when you’re craving a good pizza. We really enjoyed it. Service was great too. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive without being over the top. We were taken care of from the moment we walked in and had a really good experience overall. Good pizza, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely a place we would come back to and recommend if you’re in the area.

We are here before we went to the Cubs game and sat outside. The food and service was excellent. Michael was our waiter and was great! Very attentive! We will definitely come back!

If you’re looking for authentic Chicago-style pizza, Salerno’s absolutely delivers. The pizza was outstandingperfectly baked with a great crust, generous toppings, and rich flavor in every bite. The fried zucchini was also excellent, crispy and flavorful without being greasy. Michael who just joined was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere had that classic neighborhood Chicago pizza vibe that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re a local or visiting the city, Salerno’s is well worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Chicago.

Stopped on for a quick bite while passing thru. On site parking made it easy to get in and out. Hostest was super friendly and put us to a table in the family section. Service was quick and pleasant. Complimentary warm bread and oil provided to the table. Wait staff was attentive to the table, cleaning dirty plates and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was authentic Italian and delicious. I had the gnocchi, wife the linguine and broccoli and my daughter a kids spaghetti with giant meatball. All the food was thumbs up great! We will stop in again!
